Case Sport Challenges - 2011The 2011 Case Sport Challenge Saturday 24th of September 2011 (Accommodation 23rd / 24th) Cost - £225 all inclusive (excluding drinks) Cost excluding accommodation and carvery - £125 ![]() A weekend of competitive activities including rifle target shooting, clay pigeon shooting and trout fishing will be followed by a superb three course ‘Carvery Shoot Dinner’ and prize giving with the usual banter and perhaps a surprise or two!! This year's event will take place at the new clay shooting ground at Forrest Estate and Mossroddich Loch at St. Johns Town of Dalry. The competition will be scored over the three activities on the Saturday.
The overall prize will be the 'no-expense spared' Case Sport Challenge Shield along with a
bottle of whisky. Prizes also for each competition as
well as the obligatory ‘Booby Prizes’ will be presented, plus the 'Hugh Drennan' Memorial Trophy: an average of the top 4 scores from each team deciding the group winners. Competition Clay Shoot (50 bird Sporting) - Top Score Rifle Target Shoot - Top Score Goggle Eyed Fox - Pool Shoot, winner takes all! Fishing - Heaviest Catch Fishing - Heaviest Fish Case Sport Challenge Overall Winner - Combined scores of above 'Hugh Drennan' Cup - Top four scores from each team Wooden Spoon and W***** of the Weekend - Committee decision This superb weekend is available for up to a maximum of 25 competitors on a first-come-first-served basis. The all-inclusive package includes all competition activities including ammunition, clays, two nights B&B accommodation, venison casserole lunch on Saturday followed by the 3 course ‘Carvery Shoot Dinner’ at the Ken Bridge Hotel, New Galloway. In fact all you need is your fishing gear and beer money! |
