Dornells Estate
Description
Dornells Estate is located in a secluded area of Dumfries and Galloway known as the Stewartry. Six miles North of Castle Douglas, bordering Loch Ken, Dornells provides the idyllic setting for a Sporting Estate offering driven pheasant / partridge shooting, mixed rough days / woodcock shooting and fishing.

A privately owned Estate comprising some 2100 acres it has been developed by its current owner specifically with shooting in mind. Dornells encompasses a diverse range of habitats lending itself ideally to shooting from native woodland to strategically planted conifer stands, wetlands, heather moorland and lochs.

The surrounding landscape provides a superb backdrop to the Estate, to the South and East lush undulating pasture and woodland lead down to the Solway coastline, to the North and West the heather glad Galloway Hills provide an imposing backdrop.
