Driven Pheasant Shooting in Scotland

Scotland is extremely popular for pheasant shooting with many quality estates providing excellent sport amidst mixed landscapes from game crops to mature oak woodland and conifer plantations.

A daily bag of about 100 - 200 birds for eight guns is most common for driven days, but smaller days with bags of 50-100 are often available. Many estates can also provide excellent walked up days with even smaller bags with a mixed bag of pheasant, partridge and ducks to ‘back to back’ with larger days providing a real mixed sporting break.

Various estates offer larger daily bags of driven pheasants and partridges and they specialise in presenting superb birds which test the skill of every sportsman.

Estates can normally produce no more than two driven days consecutively so for parties looking for three or four days it is recommended to speak to a Sporting Agent who will be able to create a package of sport to suit your individual requirements.
