Forrest Estate
Scottish Sporting Holidays (Case Sport) in association with Forrest Estate, both based at St John’s Town of Dalry nr Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway, are currently developing an exciting new clay shooting ground and multi purpose outdoor pursuit centre.
Plans include a 75 bird sporting layout with high pheasant drive, rabbit run, settling duck plus a good variation of other sporting clays to suit the experienced and novice shooter alike.
Car parking, stoned pathways and a hospitality log cabin all situated in an excellent compact layout with outstanding views are due to be completed over the summer months of 2010.
Corporate days, smaller groups and individual ‘Have a Go’ tuition can be catered for as well as ‘sensible’ stag weekends all subject to availability.
Days may be combined with other sporting events such as 50 and 100 meter rifle range and excellent trout fishing to create a real ‘Sporting Challenge’. Other outdoor pursuits are hoped to be added once the venue has been completed.
